LOCATION
The PLAZA is located at 520 Robert D. Ray Drive in the heart of DOWNTOWN DES MOINES.

The Brenton Skating Plaza is conveniently located along The Principal Riverwalk, in the heart of Des Moines. The center is easily accessible along the waterfront and just blocks away from the city’s other downtown attractions, including the Science Center of Iowa, Principal Park, the East Village, the Historical Building, the State Capitol, and a number of dining and entertainment venues.

HOURS

• Sunday: noon — 8pm
• Monday: noon — 6pm
  Beginning at 6:30 pm: Learn to Skate classes for all ages.
• Tue+Wed: noon — 9pm
• Thursday: 11am — 9pm
• Friday: 11am — 11pm
• Saturday: 10am — 11pm
• Holiday Hours: 4pm — 9pm

PRICES

• Public Skating 7 Days A Week including Holidays!
• Monday – Friday before 8pm
  Admission: $3 for adults / $2 for children (age 6 through 12)
• Friday after 8pm, Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays
  Admission: $4.50 for adults / $3.50 for children


• No admission cost for children 5 and under.
• Skate rental – $2.50/pair
